Shoot Fast for Sharp Action Photos

I had lots of bright light to work with at the Canine Stars dock diving dogs exhibition at the Western Montana Fair. By setting the aperture wide open at f/4 and using ISO 200, I was able to use a 1/1000 second shutter speed to stop the motion of this dog retrieving a bumper from the tank.
