The Process of Digital Photography

Tea House Still Life, Anderson Japanese Gardens, Rockford, Illinois

As a tourist at the Anderson Japanese Gardens, I was shooting hand-held without a tripod. In order to record this scene inside the Tea House in the shade, I raised the ISO and made a short burst of exposures to ensure sharpness. Thanks to shooting in raw format, I could significantly reduce the noise and straighten the image in processing.
