Foregrounds Enhance Sunset Pictures

Everyone loves to take photos of a sky brilliantly lit up at sunset. But aside from variations on the clouds, most sunset (and sunrise) images look the same: a silhouetted foreground below the colorful sky. You can make your sunset photos stand out by locating and including an interesting foreground so it's not just a black shape. Keeping the sun itself out of the frame can help you get an exposure that works for both the sky and the land.
