This fall I spent time scouting photography locations along western Montana's rivers for a class I was teaching. There was intermittent color (and snow showers) from cottonwoods and larch (tamaracks), a pine tree whose needles turn yellow and drop every fall. I'll be sharing some of my river photos over the next couple days.
