Do you have blinds or other window coverings that you look through to see outside? How would you incorporate them into your image? Do you want to focus on the blinds or past them? I shot this image both ways, one with the blinds sharp and the other with the scene beyond in focus. I chose the version with the sharp outdoor view because it felt more like my experience of looking through the blinds. I don't pay attention to them so by making the blinds out of focus, they tend to attract less visual attention. It's your decision.
