I've always wanted to photography this old-fashioned neon sign. Making examples of night photos for my students this summer got me out to do so. My first version of this zoom effect was an accident. But after seeing the double image of the sign, I adapted my technique to make a better image on purpose. Always try to learn from your mistakes. They may be the source of a creative idea!
