Cultivated flower
Fort Missoula, Montana

When photographing close to small subjects, you still need to pay attention to composition, exposure and motion. I positioned the center of the flower on the left side following the Rule of Thirds. Because the flower is white, I increased the exposure by +1. And since there was a bit of a breeze fluttering the petals, I used a shutter speed of 1/1000 second to freeze that motion. I later made adjustments in Lightroom Classic to recover texture details in the petals.
