The original color photo recorded various shades of green in these plants along a forest service road. I wanted to highlight the largest leaf, which was brighter than the others due to its angle to the light. Using Lightroom Classic I was unable to produce the "glow" that I envisioned. Silver Efex Pro came to the rescue, enabling me to produce the shining "silver effect" I was after. Doug Johnson added an assist by rotating the original vertical into this horizontal presentation.
When I was converting this image, one of Ansel Adams' photographs served as my inspiration.
