The fair returned to Missoula this year. There seemed to be fewer rides but lots of people waiting in long lines to ride them. I tested a Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera on long exposures of carnival rides. The challenge was the new LED lights which are much brighter than incandescent bulbs of previous years. But the first ride I chose to photograph made me laugh with the designs the moving lights created.
