A short drive from my lodgings at the Lake Louise Inn brought me to Lake Louise proper before sunrise. The late spring meant the ice was just beginning to thaw and clouds obscured the eastern sky. Still I was able to make some nice shots of the canoes and rental cabin at the base of the mountain.
