After taking a photo of the entire massive building, I looked for a way to place the hotel in the Canadian Rockies where it lives. In this shot I was able to include one of the impressive mountain peaks and the ever-present pine trees along with a portion of the hotel. The windows and lamp post provide a sense of scale.
The black and white treatment helped me emphasize the variety of textures and shapes throughout the scene.
