| Above the Rest Camas flowers at Packer Meadow Lolo Pass, Idaho |
Using a low camera position I was able to highlight this one camas flower that was taller than the rest. The bonus was the dark background created by the distant pine trees in shadow which sets off the "outstanding" flower.
Consider joining me for Photograph Wildflowers at Packer Meadow, beginning Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Lifelong Learning Center in Missoula, Montana. We start with a classroom session for tips on composition, lighting and storytelling. Then we meet at the meadow on Saturday to create new pictures.
