Black & White Nostalgia #3

Decorated cook stove door
Garnet, Montana

Here is another iron cook stove door decorated with a fancy swirl. This had come off the stove and was leaning against the stove's side.

You might notice that this picture is brown and white instead of black and white. This color, called sepia, mimics the appearance of some old photos in which the printing turned the black & white image into a shade of brown. While I created this particular color with photo editing software, you can make a sepia image automatically with your phone or traditional camera. On your phone, look through the filters for this effect. On a traditional camera, you can find sepia as an option under the Monochrome Picture Style or Picture Control.
