| Garnet Ghost Town Overview Montana |
Next month I'm leading a class to historic Garnet, Montana, a once booming mining town which is now abandoned. It has many old log cabins, a store, a hotel with a kitchen, and more. One way to create a portfolio of images from such a place is to photograph an overview of the location, make portraits of individual buildings, and record details of the remaining artifacts. This week's series begins with the overall shots and a few building portraits.
The class also covers how to create black and white images and old-fashioned sepia pictures just by changing a few settings in your digital camera or smartphone camera app.
