Years ago I attended a technical writing conference where the featured speaker was Dewitt Jones. I was so inspired by his presentation (which brought me to tears) that I did something I had never done before (or since). I returned to the auditorium after everyone had left, walked up to Dewitt and asked what I should do to become a photographer.
