My students often tell me they take my classes to force themselves to grab their cameras and make photographs. If you are struggling with figuring out what to photograph that's new and interesting, try answering the title question: pick your color and then photograph it in the most creative way possible. Use camera techniques, photo editing skills, anything to create something that's more than a literal representation of the subject.
