If you ever go on a family trip and want to take pictures without infringing on everyone else's fun, you are probably going to shoot hand-held instead of using a tripod. This can be a challenge when the place you're visiting is dimly lit like the Cable Car Museum in San Francisco.
The interior with the wheels and underground cables that pull the cars up and down the hills is noisy and dark. I did not have a tripod along to help me get a steady shot. The room is too large a space to try to light up using a flash. But by raising the ISO and turning on the Image Stabilizer on my lens, I was able to get this picture.
