It took me a while to find a detail shot for the third of my story-telling images. I finally noticed this cluster of bright green lichen and snow on a tree trunk near the trail I was following. I only saw it on my return when I was walking back to my starting point along the same path. It pays to reverse course sometimes. Everything looks different and you see new subjects.
