Last week I shared the announcement that Adobe updated the Camera Raw plug-in that comes with Photoshop and Bridge. The new version 12.3 of Camera Raw has a radically different look and feel from the older versions of the plug-in. Note that if you update Bridge, Adobe automatically updates Camera Raw also.
If you do not need the support for any of the new cameras associated with the update, you can revert to the previous 12.2.1 version of Camera Raw by following the instructions on this help page.
First close all Adobe programs before beginning the process. Click the link for the 12.2.1 version of Camera Raw that matches your operating system. Download the ZIP (Windows) or DMG (Mac) file, open the file and follow the instructions to install the older version. When the installation is finished, restart your Adobe programs.
