Digital cameras have an amazing ability to see in the dark. In this course, you explore the advanced techniques necessary to record pictures of urban and nature scenes
after the sun goes down. You learn how to focus in the dark, determine an appropriate exposure for night pictures, work with the colors of artificial lights, and create successful images of the moon
and stars. You also learn how to use Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop to make your night photographs look their best. An interchangeable lens camera with manual controls for aperture, shutter speed and ISO, Bulb exposure mode, raw file capture, and a wired cable release as well as a tripod are required. Experience with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop are recommended.
This class meets every other week so you have two weeks to complete each practice.
