Creative Technques -- Multiple Exposures

Many of the newest camera models include the ability to create multiple exposure pictures, similar to the method used with film photography. However, digital makes it easier because the camera automatically figures out the exposure adjustments necessary for the number of frames you want to combine. Every camera implements multiple exposure capability differently, so you need to consult the manual for the specifics.

To create this picture, I set the camera for nine exposures in Average blending mode. I moved the camera slightly between each exposure to create the effect.
