A few years ago I visited.the UC-Santa Cruz Arboretum where I photographed this beauty from Australia.
According to Wikipedia, the species is no longer placed in the Hibiscus genus. Instead it has been placed in the Alyogyne genus, flowering plants in the family Malvaceae which are endemic to Australia.
