I took my time working my way up Johnston Canyon and photographed this small waterfall in the creek from the suspended walkway. The half-second exposure allowed the flowing water to blur nicely and contrast with the rough rock walls.
Doug Johnson encouraged us to shoot our subjects "environmentally, intimately, and abstractly." This is my intimate or medium shot of this canyon and creek. You can see the environmental or wider shot in yesterday's post.
