The sun was not producing much in the way of color due to the clouds, so I turned my camera toward the opposite side of the lake from the lodge. I converted this view into black and white to emphasize the shape of the mountain peaks and the texture of the rocks and trees. The opening on the lower left corner is the bottom of an avalanche chute.
