With its October 2022 release of Photoshop (desktop version 24), Adobe introduced three new automatic ways to create selections using its Sensei artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Photoshop instructor Rick Burress has a preview of these new selection tools in a video posted on the Bryan Peterson School of Photography blog. Prepare to have your mind "blown," as Rick says!
3 New Artificial Intelligence Selection Techniques: Upgraded!
At the end of the video, Rick promises a new class available in February or March 2023 called the Magic of Masks in Photoshop which will be a deep dive into the new (and existing) selection tools. You can check out the course details here. Rick promises to include info on masks in Lightroom and Camera Raw as well as Photoshop.
