Spring continued to advance with more flowering trees blossoming across the area, filling the air with delicious perfume.
Using the longest zoom setting on my lens, its widest aperture (smallest f-number), and getting close to the flower allowed me to blur the background buds to focus more attention on the open blossom. I deliberately placed the focus point on the yellow stamens because that was the feature I wanted to be sharpest.
