I cut the tulips in yesterday's post to save them from being eaten by deer and brought them inside. I put the vase by a sunny window so the buds would open in the warmth. Then I noticed the interesting shadow created not just by the flowers but also the glass vase I'd put them in. So I took a variety of shots and flipped this one upside down from its actual orientation.
