Once again I'd come to the end of the day without having taken a picture. I turned this smartphone photo black and white to emphasize the shapes, textures, light and shadows.
You can make black and white images in a smartphone camera by selecting from the available filters either before or after taking the shot. In a traditional-style camera, look for a Picture Style or Film Simulation option in the menus before shooting. Or use any photo editing software to convert from color afterwards.
