Learn What's New in Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta

Mountains north of Missoula, Montana
Adobe has just announced the availability of Photoshop CS6 Beta. This is a free working sneak peek of Photoshop before it's actually available for sale. (Once it goes on sale, the free beta version stops working.) A number of sites have created overviews of new features for photographers. Here are a couple of my favorites:

From Digital Photography Review
Photoshop CS6 Beta: New Features for Photographers

From Tim Grey (download video)

From Laura Show (video)
Laura also has a separate post summarizing additional Photoshop CS6 Beta features here.

If you use a Mac for running Photoshop, you should be aware that the new version will NOT run on 32-bit Mac systems. Your computer must be a 64-bit Intel processor machine for Photoshop CS6. More details and a link to download a free copy of Photoshop CS6 Beta are available at the Adobe Labs web site

Images Published in Photo Art Journal

I'm happy to announce the winter issue of Butterflies and Anvils by colleague Eileen Rafferty. I'm also honored that she used two of my winter photos in her seasonal collage. You can see a preview that includes my photos at the link. And get a copy of the magazine itself, which features photo artist Jill Enfield who does a lot of work with hand coloring. Enjoy!
